Melancholy Macadamia
In the heart of the forest, where the pine trees grow tall,
A lone wolf was pacing, hearing nature’s loud call.
He was feeling a tension, a deep, heavy strain,
And a massive obsession was clouding his brain.
“I need to buss it,” he sighed, with a howl to the sky,
“This pressure is building, and I cannot lie!
It’s a hard, stubborn shell that is making me blue,
And I won’t find relief ’til I’m completely through.”
He spotted a rock, and upon it there sat,
A giant macadamia, so juicy and fat.
His eyes grew wide open, his sweat started to pour,
He’d never desired a nut more before.
He gripped it so tight, with a passionate squeeze,
Trembling and shaking right down to his knees.
He gave it a rub, and he gave it a yank,
With a look in his eyes that was utterly blank.
He leaned in quite close, with a heavy, deep sigh,
As the climax of cracking was drawing so nigh.
Then BANG went the shell, with a magnificent pop,
And white, creamy pieces flew right over the top!
The tension was gone, he was finally free,
Covered in nut-dust, as pleased as could be.
He fell to the moss, all exhausted and spent,
A truly relaxed, and a happy young gent.
