From a very early age I was always into music, making music was just a natural progression.

I started making music in my late teens, wouldn’t call it Dope, but I was eager to learn.

Everything I’ve done so far I’ve learnt myself, searching out new ways to make beats.

this should explain things.

Yeah I started off on reason, then dabbled with fruity, even used a Rolland RV – 88 what rza used for the wu albums. Sick. Then used the ipad for a while. But it was too cumbersome so I got a push then push 2 then very comfortable around ableton and then wanted to experience a box so I got a Akai force. Killed it. All there in that box. Just got to put your samples on. Mastered it to a limit. Nowadays I grab the iPad Pro and make something quick. Also self contained with the power. A full mixing desk with cubasis. This is the future.

I’ve always listened to Hip-Hop, I don’t understand people who label one type of song Hip-Hop and say it’s all trash “Madness” It’s so big it’s HUGE, I don’t think any other music has crossed so many boundary’s.

When I started, I didn’t have a MPC, or an ASR, I tinkered about with Fruity loops and then got onto Propellerheads Reason. Back then it was all a learning curve,

As far as listening to music, I went few my fazes; Reggae, Drum & Bass, Electronica, Dub, Acoustic, Hip-Hop, Break beat, Funk, Rare Groove, to be honest I don’t know where the influence comes from when I’m making music, probably all of the above.

When I start making a beat I don’t always say, “Right I’m gonna make a Dance track or a slow grove” I just start, and see where I end up, that’s the really fun thing about music you can let your creativity take over.

Now I’m working with a few artists, some known, some unknown, but all talented in their own right.

At the time of going to concerts and listening to Artists do their thing I never really thought about doing it myself seriously, but now it feels good to be making some of my own music.

Hope you enjoy it.

Peace – Whodiniz?
